My ADSL is still not working correctly.
Apperently there is a mismatch between the ISP DB and the phone carrier DB. They are working on it but they don't dare to give me a date when it is ready!
So, already for a week I wasn't capable of playing Poker, which is a bummer. But there's work enough to be done in the new house.
The positive side about this is that I did not loose any money, my bankroll is stable at the moment around 9$.
Cheers,
Dremeber

Moving and Poker not a good combination |
Made small profits on Friday and Saturday, lost it all in the Sunday evening session.
On Friday and Saturday I play very strict, which is apparently good on the low limits SNGs. On Sunday I played way to loose. Making bad decisions probably still drugged by the paint gasses.
Moving and playing Poker is not a good combination. To tired most of the time to play poker, but still I did. Which results in losses.
A friend had a very bad weekend the main cause, he played the all-in to much. remember if you play all-in before the flop, you can't control the game anymore. In his case, in 9 of the 10 cases, he had the best starting hand which does not guarantee anything. Probably it is better to do a big raise before the flop and go all-in after the flop, if you still think that you have the best hand. This way a lot of times you will win easy chips cause the other player will fold, thinking that you hit something. In the all-in they have no chance but the follow the community cards resulting in a lot of times in bad beats on the river. You can't blame them cause you gave them the chance.
An example, you have AKu and you go all-in. Somebody with 9c 10c calls. The flop show Ah 8c 3s. The turn 7c and the river Qc. Now you have lost your tournament with one hand, one gamble. If you would have played this with a raise of 200 for instance and the other one calls. And you go all-in after the flop, you have 75% chance that he will fold.
So tip of the day: don't overplay all-in. It is better to play all-in after the flop than before it. Also it gives you the chance to fold yourself. And it is better to stay in the game with a bunch of chips less than to be removed from the table.
Tonight will be a nightmare. I will try to build the Ikea Dressing. Wish me luck.
Cheers and good luck,
Dremeber

Is the star rising again? |
I have played pretty well today. Played 4 SNG. 3 1$ and 1 2,5$.
Three times I ended up in the money. I won my first 2 1$ SNGs and got a little bit pissed on by the third one.
Twice I lost against pocket pair aces, twice the same person. The first time I had AKu. I was chipleader with around 1700 and he had 640 left. He went all-in and I called. Bad luck number one. The second time was worse cause only 3 players were left. I had A4, nothing dangerous on the flop, nor the turn nor the river. He went all-in in the first round and sI was tupid enough to call.
The 2.5$ SNG was close. But I managed to hang on there with a lot of luck. 3 players left, I was dealer the SB was chipleader and the BB was all-in cause of the blinds. He had Q4, while the chipleader made a straight on the river.
So a profitable evening of 5$ on Unibet.
On Pitbull Poker, the first flash poker room. So no download needed. I made 5$ profit on the money table. If you think that Titan is a fish pound, Pitbull Poker is the Fish pound.
Give it a try and profit from the 10$ no deposit bonus. It says enough that even I can make a profit there. The player keep on calling with nothing. Slow playing is the keyword here. And yes the bonus is also applicable for US Residents.
Good luck,
Dremeber

A fresh start is needed! |
Okay, I ran out of money at Titan. Partly my fault, partly the fault of my ADSL modem.
I tried to build up the bankroll but made the most incorrect decisions all the way, combine this with a few bad beats we all of and a power faillure and the result is broke at Titan.
The power faillure came at a awfull moment. I just had decided to register for a 5$ SNG single table. After the second hand, the power fell out. This because of a broken boillure. I had the power back-up after 5 minutes, which should not be mortal in a 5$ SNG, with 7 minutes blinds. The problem was that the power faillure killed my ADSL modem. Came in fourth and bye bye bankroll.
My bankroll now is at the lowest ever: 11$.
Meaning going back to the 1$ tournament at Unibet Poker.
Titan was fun. The Maui and Dirty Dozen ideas are great. Winning four of them at a row, gives you a 2000$ bonus for the Dirty Dozen and a 4000$ bonus for the Maui. You have to get used to the overal interface but playing multiple tables at the same time is very enjoyable. If you don't have a Titan account already and not living in the US, then try out the 50$ no deposit bonus.
The next two weeks my main priority is the move. For the first time ever we will be living in our (the banks) house. While I really look forward to he new house, I'm already fed up with the moving part. Also I'm curious how long it will take to have internet access.
I'll keep you posted.
Cheers and better luck then I have,
Dremeber

The fish called: Dremeber |
Yesterday was a complete nightmare. Wouldn't be surprised if on one or the other blog somebody posted my a fish of the month.
I played so bad yesterday that is was not funny anymore.
Okay I also had some bad beats. Like loosing with AA vs a KQu. On the flop, it was still looking good with no dangerous cards. On the turn the K fell and on the river the Q.
Another bad beat, if it is a bad beat. 99 vs A6. On the flop the first 6 popped up and on the river the second :(.
AKu vs Q2s then. On the flop the A and K appeared (SA CK S3). Good enough for a decent raise. Got a call. So I guessed he had an A or a K, in the wost scenario both. On the turn another Spades showed up. It is the 6. So I completely forgot about the flush, which killed me! Not a bad beat but a stupid move from my side.
I played 8 SNGs and only ended twice as second.
My bankroll took a dive to: 35.72$. With only 11.50$ left on Titan.
Today no poker will be played, which is probably a good thing. On Wednesday it will be dangerous again cause there is also champions league.
I'm also going to register on Party Poker, were you also can get a 50$ no deposit bonus.
If you are also interested in this deposit bonus then follow this link:
Your Poker Cash. If they ask for a referral code, please fill in:e7b920.
On this site you can find a 50$ no deposit for Absolute (also for US residents), Party Poker and Titan Poker.
Cheers,

Progress, it is going better |
I'm making little progress with my bankroll, which is now on 51,06$. an increase of almost 4$ compared to my previous post.
It is very strange, on the Titan Turbo Copenhagen (2$ + 0.40$) I made a profit but on the lower Titan Turbo Cardiff (1$+0.20$) I made an imense loss.
I played 16 Cardiffs and only managed to get in the money three times. (1 first and 2 seconds) Resulting is a loss of 12.60$.
On the other hand I played 9 Copenhagens and 6 times I ended up in the money. I won 3 times and came in second 3 times. Giving me a profit of 14.40$. Not bad I guess.
Still I find a strange, you expect weaker players at the Cardiff table but time and time again I run into bad beats. Grrrh. But it is a part of the game.
On Unibet I also was almost capable of turning my overal outcome on the 0.90$+0.10$ into a profit. Since last post I played 27 of those SNGs. 8 times I won and 8 times I was second. Resulting in a profit of 4.30$.
In total I have played for the moment 192 SNGs, with a nett loss of 17,19$. Not so bad for a fish I guess. My next aim is to turn the Unibet 0,90$+0,10$ into a profit. Then I will try to increase my bankroll further with the Copenhagen and will stay away for a while from the Cardiff tables.
But not much poker this week. My social agenda is to full.
Good luck and see you at the tables,
Dremeber

Some bad beats and a brilliant SNG win. |
I didn't play a lot within the last days. Only 12 SNGs of 1$. 6 times I ended up in the money and twice I won.
Some times you wonder if the poker rooms have a shitlist and that you are on top.
A few days ago, I played all-in with JJ cause the blinds were killing me. A fish calls me all-in with almost the same chipcount. He turn 7 3 s, so I felt pretty save but after the flop I knew I was fucked. The flop was A73.
To have some input fot my blog I started to archieve my bad beats.
These are the ones for yesterday:
Bad Beat 1:
- tomi1980 sitting in seat 2 with $1077.68-

** Dealing the flop: 4 of Spades, 8 of Spades, 3 of Spades
** Dealing the turn: Ace of Spades
** Dealing the river: 7 of Heartstomi1980 wins $2315.36 from the main pot
I was the chiplead and according to me it was worth it to risk the call. So after the cards were put on the table, I felt pretty save. Untill the fucking river.
Came in second in this SNG.

barnarama folded
happy_days called - $60.00
** Dealing the flop: 7 of Hearts, 4 of Clubs, 5 of Hearts
happy_days bet - $150.00
Dremeber raised - $300.00
happy_days called - $300.00
** Dealing the turn: King of Hearts
happy_days checked
Dremeber went all-in - $630.00
happy_days went all-in - $545.00

This was the second hand of the SNG, leaving me behind with only 85 chips. Still I won the SNG. Pretty proud of that.

Setting up a poker blog listing is harder than I thought. Left comment on at least 30 of 40 quality poker blogs. But only 4 added their blog to the listing.

Cannot complain about my bankroll: 47.76$.
